With over 30 years of school catering experience, their successful ethos is to provide healthy, local, responsible sourced food that children love. Tasty, freshly cooked, nutritious dishes help your children flourish and reach their potential. As part of a balanced diet, lunches provide a third of a child’s daily calorie intake, to aid concentration levels and give them energy to focus and to play.
They know that providing award winning meals isn’t enough and so, at HC3S they go that step further, by helping schools and the wider community to encourage children, parents, carers to live healthy lifestyles and think sustainably.

Our School Meals
Our school meals are cooked on the premises by Anji Phipps who is our school cook. She has had been with us for 26 years and previously has had 9 years experience of outside catering. She understands children and is very aware of any allergy or dietary requirements they may have. Our 'Anji' cooked lunches are very popular as are her lunch bags for those who enjoy cold sandwich type meals. When she cooks the bread for the rolls the aroma just wafts arounds the school!
Anji has worked hard with the school to make sure that our children eat healthily and ensure our Healthy School Status
All meals are cooked to strict HC3S specifications.
Meals are free for Years R, 1 & 2 and £2.50 for Years 3 - 6

Special Diets
HC3S can provide special diets for pupils with allergies who want to have a school meal. Special diets are provided for pupils with a medical problem, not just a dislike of certain food. Medical evidence confirming the child’s allergy is required.
The standard primary school menu is nut free, with all products used being confirmed as having been manufactured in a nut free environment.
